Donor Privacy
Seattle Humane will not sell, share or trade donor names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to donors on behalf of other organizations.
This policy applies to all donations received by Seattle Humane, both online and offline, on any Platform (‘Platform’ includes the Seattle Humane website and other applications), as well as any electronic, written or oral communications.
To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, donor information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Gift Acceptance
Your support of Seattle Humane makes it possible to help thousands of pets and the people who love them, right here in our community. Seattle Humane urges all prospective donors to seek the assistance of personal legal and financial advisors in matters relating to their gifts, including the resulting tax and estate planning consequences. Our Gift Acceptance Policy provides guidelines to representatives of Seattle Humane who may be involved in the acceptance of gifts, to outside advisors who may assist in the gift planning process and to prospective donors who may wish to make gifts to the organization.
