Fia

Fia is a smart and cuddly pit bull mix who has been looking for a family at Seattle Humane since late December. Three-year-old Fia has enjoyed time in foster homes where she loves cuddling with people on the couch and binge-watching TV or taking a quick power nap. Fia has also spent time living with older children while in foster. She enjoys playing tug and fetch out in the yard, as well as going on nice walks and taking in new smells. She is an energetic and playful gal who is a volunteer favorite when it comes to going on field trips! Fia loves people so much, she prefers to be the only canine companion in the home. She would love to have a home with a yard with a family willing to continue her training. Due to her long stay at Seattle Humane, her new family can name her adoption fee!

A cat with white and tabby coloring looks at the camera

Maximus is a very handsome shelter cat who just celebrated his third birthday at Seattle Humane, where he’s been looking for a family since last May. Maximus is very playful and enjoys receiving pets, though like most cats, on his terms. He will even play fetch! Maximus will do best in a family with lots of cat experience and who can read his body language to know when he’s getting overstimulated or uncomfortable. He will also benefit from his own private space inside his new home where he can decompress. Anyone wanting to adopt Maximus should understand that it will take time for him to settle into his new home environment. His new family can name his adoption fee!
