Pet Owner Assistance Fund

Seattle Humane’s Pet Owner Assistance Fund was established by generous supporters who believe animal companionship should be accessible to everyone regardless of circumstance. This program helps families struggling with high or unexpected costs challenging their ability to keep their pets healthy and safe at home.

Polly's Pocket Fund

To honor their pet Polly’s lifetime of love and empathy, her family created a fund at Seattle Humane—the Polly’s Pocket Fund—for families needing help with lifesaving or life-extending treatment for a sick or injured pet.

  • Free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines and services through Seattle Humane’s clinic.

  • To qualify you must identify as Latino/Hispanic, live in 98146, 98168 or 98188 zip codes and meet income restrictions.

    Pets for Life

Pets for Life is a program model started by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to help address the lack of access to pet resources experienced by families living in underserved communities.

Pets for Life (PFL) programs can be found in over 50 cities nationwide. Although independent from each other, all PFL programs utilize door-to-door outreach to build 1:1 relationships and a consistent community presence. This approach reaches community members who often have the least amount of access to information and services.

The Pets for Life program at Seattle Humane serves people and animals in Seattle’s 98108, 98106 and 98146 zip codes and provides free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, pet supplies and other pet care resources.

If you live in the 98108, 98106 or 98146 zip code and would like more information, please contact us at petsforlife@seattlehumane.org, or call or text (206) 818-8540.
