Adoption Update: Barry

Seattle Humane helped me find my best friend. It was a random work week day and I saw Barry on their website, I immediately knew I wanted to meet him. When I got to the shelter they helped me get set up to see some other cats along with Barry. When I met Barry I knew he had to be mine, he was shy but seemed so ready to be loved. The team helped me make sure Barry would do well with my other cat Luna, and how to make the transition easy for both of them. I unfortunately came close to closing and they weren’t able to adopt him out. I was so sad but asked if I came back when they opened if I could adopt him, to this response, the nice woman helping gave me a complimentary hold for him. I came back next day when they opened like promised and got to adopt my now best friend. He came ready for his new home, they gave me the food he was eating so he could transition easier and sent him home with a blanket he still loves. After almost a month Barry is out of his shell and just wants to love. He greets me when I get home and cuddles me when we go to bed. Seattle Humane made finding my purrfect cat, easy and a dream come true! I can’t wait to love Barry all his life!
