Busy Lizzie’s Foster Feature

Pepper is a beautiful 12-year-old girl who has been in our care since last October. She’s currently living in a loving foster home, because she is highly stressed at the shelter.  Pepper enjoys being around people, but more as an observer. She’s a social, but quiet girl, who will welcome her friends and strangers alike with a simple head bump. You can win her over with a good under-the- chin scratch! This little lady isn’t demanding, but she is sensitive to change, and will need a perfectly kept powder room to keep her happy. Add some spice to your life and meet Pepper today!

Pepper is currently staying in one of our lovely foster care homes. If you would like to learn more or meet Pepper, please contact our adoption team at adoption@seattlehumane.org or (425) 649-7563.

And, great news! Pepper will be featured at our Meow Mixer tomorrow night, come enjoy some snacks and wine while getting to know this sweet kitty!

Meet the gorgeous Pepper, a 12-year-old sweetheart ready to become your new best friend!
Pepper was adopted in December 2014!

Pepper

By Lizzie Pitts, age 11

“Hi, I’m Pepper! I’m a big-hearted purrball that will leave you saying ‘awwww!’ When my foster parent, Beth, took me in I was kind of a big blob, but now I am trim, fit and ready for action!

Even though I am not shy, I would prefer a home with older children. But, other than that, I would take any home as long as it’s full of kind, loving people.

I like feathers, too. I will playfully bat at them with my paws, but what I really love is CATNIP!!!! Catnip makes me go kinda nuts. You can put it on my scratch post and prepare for me to go bananas!

I love to be around you. I will sit next to you on the couch, and if you want to watch your favorite TV show but don’t have anyone to watch it with- fear not! I will come to your aid and soon you will be cozy with me next to you.

I’m excited for a home to call my own. If I sound like a purrfect friend and kitty for you, please contact Seattle Humane’s adoption team at adoption@seattlehumane.org.”
