In-kind donations are tax-deductible and can be dropped off at the shelter or purchased through our Amazon Wish List. When delivering donations directly to the shelter, please complete our donation form so we can send you a tax receipt. Download the form here.

Seattle Humane is no longer accepting these donated items:

  • Used litter pans
  • Cat trees
  • Large crates
  • Used cat/dog beds
  • Extra large dog beds (these are difficult to wash!)
  • Pillows
  • Sheets/comforters
  • Dog Houses
  • Automatic water/food dispensers
  • Carpet/ rugs
  • Human clothing
  • Holiday-themed pet clothing and treats
  • Aquatic supplies includes fish tanks, reptile food, fish food, etc. 
  • Homemade dog food or treats

Donate Pet Food
Help restock our Pet Food Bank! Dry cat and dog food are especially needed to help pets of low-income community members remain in their homes and keep their pets. Bring donations to Seattle Humane, or you can drop it off at our participating Barrel Buddy stores. View a list of stores and learn more about becoming a Barrel Buddy, or hold a pet food drive for us. 

Donate Your Old Cell Phones
Clean out your cabinets and donate your old cell phones to Seattle Humane! Each donation could mean the difference between life and death for a companion animal. For more information about donating your cell phone, email us or call Development at (425) 373-5382.  

Well Hello There!

Chunk and his new brother Kernel are getting along greatly now. They love to play! Chunk is a love bug and wants cuddles all the time, which I just adore.
